SCL Forensics at the AFTE Training Seminar 2026

SCL Forensics at the AFTE Training Seminar 2026 ●

We’re excited to be attending the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners (AFTE) Training Seminar, the premier international event for firearms and tool mark specialists. Since 1969, AFTE has led the way in advancing research, sharing innovative methods, and shaping best practices in forensic science—and this seminar is where the field comes together to learn, collaborate, and push boundaries.

Our team looks forward to participating in in-depth presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and discussions on the latest techniques and research. This is a unique opportunity to connect with thought leaders, exchange insights, and bring back cutting-edge knowledge to further our work in firearm and tool mark identification.

Follow along as SCL Forensics engages with the global forensic community and continues to advance the science of firearm and tool mark analysis.

Stephanie Luehr will be attending the AFTE Conference in Baltimore from May 25–29, joining forensic professionals from across the country who are dedicated to advancing the science of firearm and tool mark examination. Actively participating in events like this reflects a commitment to staying engaged with the evolving standards, research, and conversations shaping the field.

By taking intentional steps to remain involved in the professional community, Stephanie strives to continuously grow, contribute knowledge, and exceed the standards expected of today’s forensic examiners. Conferences like AFTE provide valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen professional collaboration, and help move the discipline forward.
